Discipline & Conduct
At Shri A. Ganesan Matriculation Higher Secondary School, we
believe that discipline is the foundation of character. Along with
academic excellence, we emphasize good conduct, respect, and responsibility. Our
code of discipline helps students grow into confident, well-mannered, and
responsible citizens.
General Conduct
- Show respect to teachers, staff, and peers at all
times.
- Maintain politeness, honesty, and courtesy inside and outside
campus.
- Observe silence and order in classrooms, labs,
library, and assemblies.
- Misbehavior, bullying, or violence will attract strict action.
Care for School Property
- Treat school property with care.
- Damaging walls, desks, or facilities is a serious offence.
- Students causing damage must bear repair/replacement
costs.
- Willful damage may lead to suspension or dismissal.
Cleanliness & Hygiene
- Maintain clean classrooms and surroundings.
- Neat uniforms, personal hygiene, and proper grooming are mandatory.
- Avoid food wastage and littering.
Use of Language
- Converse in English within the campus, except
during language-specific classes.
- Foul or unparliamentary language is not tolerated.
Prohibited Items
- No mobile phones, smartwatches, or electronic gadgets.
- No CDs, pen drives, or unauthorized digital media.
- No two-wheelers for commuting.
- Confiscated items will not be returned.
Disciplinary Actions
- Misconduct may lead to warnings, suspension, or
expulsion.
- Students suspended more than twice in an academic year may be issued
a Transfer Certificate (T.C.)
Moral Responsibility
- Follow values of honesty, compassion, and cooperation.
- Self-discipline is promoted to guide students in making the right
choices.
